Helicopter Simulator Terms of Use

These terms establish the procedure for the provision of the HeliBaltic helicopter simulator service (hereinafter — the Service), as well as the rights and obligations of the Service Provider (hereinafter — the Service Provider) and the client (hereinafter — the Client).

1. Booking and Payment

1.1. The Service is provided only after the Client has made a prepayment of 100% of the service price.

1.2. Payment is made on the HeliBaltic website using online banking, bank transfer, or invoice.

1.3. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full prepayment from the Client by the Service Provider.

1.4. At the time of booking, the flight start time and the total duration of the service are specified.

1.5. If, after the end of the booked session, the particular time slot has not been reserved by another client, the Service Provider and the Client may agree on the purchase of additional time.

2. Booking Cancellation

2.1. In the event of cancellation by the Service Provider, the Client is offered two options:

(1) receive a full refund of the amount paid, or

(2) choose an alternative flight time.

2.2. In the event of cancellation by the Client:

2.2.1. If the booking is cancelled at least 14 days before the scheduled flight — the amount paid is refunded in full.

2.2.2. If the booking is cancelled less than 14 days before the scheduled flight — the amount paid is not refunded.

3. Late Arrivals and No-Shows

3.1. If the Client is late for the scheduled start time, the booked time slot is not rescheduled or extended.

3.2. The flight is conducted within the remaining booked time, up to the originally scheduled end time. For example, if the booked time is from 10:00 to 12:00 but the Client arrives at 10:30, the service will be provided until 12:00.

3.3. In the event of a no-show, the prepayment is not refunded.

4. Alcohol and Narcotic Substances

4.1. The Client is prohibited from participating in a simulator flight while under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or other intoxicating substances.

4.2. The Service Provider has the right to deny the Client access to the service if there are reasonable grounds to suspect that the Client is under the influence of intoxicating substances.

4.3. The Service Provider may offer to conduct a breath alcohol concentration test using a certified and calibrated device, in accordance with the conditions established by applicable regulations.

4.4. If the Client refuses to undergo the test or is found to be under the influence of intoxicating substances, the Service Provider has the right to refuse the provision of the service, the booking is cancelled, and the payment is not refunded.

4.5. In severe cases (for example, if there are reasonable grounds to suspect that the Client is under the influence of narcotic substances), the Service Provider has the right to notify law enforcement authorities.

5. Use of the Simulator

5.1. Use of the simulator is permitted only in the presence of and with the authorisation of the Service Provider's instructor.

5.2. The Client agrees to follow the instructor's directions and safety rules.

5.3. The service is not available to children under the age of 12.

6. Age Verification and Consent

6.1. Upon arrival, the Client must present a valid identity document so that the Service Provider can verify the Client's age.

6.2. For persons aged 12 to 18, parental or guardian consent is required:

6.2.1. in writing, with the signature of a parent or guardian;

6.2.2. verbally, with the parent or guardian present during the provision of the service and presenting documents confirming that they are the person's legal representative or guardian.

6.3. If consent has not been provided, the Service Provider has the right to refuse the provision of the service. In such cases, the booking fee is not refunded.

7. Photo and Video Materials

7.1. By participating in a simulator flight, the Client agrees that the Service Provider may take photographs and record video during the flight, and use such materials for marketing, advertising, and publicity purposes, in compliance with personal data protection requirements under applicable regulations.

7.2. If the Client does not wish their images or video materials to be captured or used, they must inform the Service Provider in writing prior to the commencement of the service.

8. Liability

8.1. The Service Provider is not liable for losses arising from the Client's late arrival, use of intoxicating substances, or other actions on the part of the Client.

8.2. The Service Provider has the right to refuse the provision of the service if safety rules are violated or the Client fails to follow the instructor's directions.

9. Final Provisions

9.1. These terms take effect at the moment the Client has made a booking and payment.

9.2. Matters not covered by these terms shall be governed by the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia.
